Played a really fun gig with my friends from the North Of Fifty band on Friday. This was a different type of gig from the usual ones that I get to play as it was inside a restaurant…..so it was a little more mellow than the usual Not My Tempo rock band gig.
I always love filling-in with the NOF band as there is always an opportunity to let loose a little bit. I always seem to have to learn new tunes and this gig was no exception:
China Grove - which I haven’t played for years
Listen To The Music - I don’t think I ever learned that one
Amarillo in the Morning - A bit of country
Walk Of Life - Dire Straights

It Ain’t Easy - which I have actually played once before

This might be my last entry for April….although there is a ‘Not My Tempo’ gig coming up next week - so I might squeeze in an update.
