This month and Last month I’ve been working on a new video for the modern country tune “Hotel Key’ by Old Dominion.
Interestingly there wasn’t much on YouTube for this song so I thought it would be a good one to put up. You can access it directly in Youtube or from my Lessons page.
Once I put it up I had a second request for the song Burn Out by Midland; So I spent a few hours putting that one together as well. As I create each new video Im trying different things like: simple and advanced notations, video cuts, etc.
This month the NMT band is auditioning new players - currently we are looking for a new singer and in fact have an audition in 2 hours from my time of writing. (*** Feb 10/2019 UPDATE - We might just have a new singer - more to come)
Another fun tune I’ve been working on is Wild Night(s) - John Cougar Mellencamp version. I remember playing this a few years ago and it is has a great bass line. I think it was recorded by Me’Shell NdegeOcello.
