The CORONAVIRUS continues to give me time to work on basic skills and techniques. This month I worked on the theme from Alexander Hamilton. Strangely enough it was actually harder than the “My Shot” tune from the same musical that I worked on in August. What was particularly tricky for me was the variation between A and incidental A# that occurs throughout. The tune itself is in D Minor (B,C#,D,E,F#,G,A)
Looking forward there still seems to be no real end in sight in terms of the CORONAVIRUS subsiding so I guess I will continue to work on my sight-reading
I miss performing but hoping 2021 will offer new opportunities
