I realized it’s been a while since I did an update on the website. As 2024 progressed I’ve continued to focus on sight-reading and also attempting some of the tricky slap tunes that have eluded me in the past. Ive been trying to post about one bass focussed YouTube a month (with varying degrees of success).
Im really enjoying having a great bunch of students who continually challenge me and make me rethink why I do certain things as well as the way I present information in lessons.
On the equipment front I have just received a 5 string bass. As is often the case there is some set-up required so I have taken it to James Cargill guitars here in Victoria. Im looking forward to getting it back and will post some videos and assessments of the new bass as well as the purchasing process via AliExpress.
