2026 January

Its always a busy time starting a new year. Im pleased that so many students from last year have decided to continue with me in 2026. This year I have some new ideas and material for all of my students ranging from : getting a good handle on chords through to individual transcription projects that different students want to focus on.

I am also hoping that some of my older students may come back for some masterclass type lessons as well as brand new students joining.

On a personal note - I am hoping that I will be playing live a bit this year with a musician I recently met. Im excited about this opportunity, not just because of the calibre of the player but also because its going to have a good acoustic feel so I get to break out the acoustic bass and stretch out a bit on the improv' side of things.
